I'd recommend reading this book from the public library. It is so well written that every time you read it you get something different from it. It's the life story of the young girl in the napalm bomb picture.

THE GIRL IN THE PICTURE : THE KIM PHUC STORY
Author: Chong, Denise

"The Girl in the Picture" always gives me chills. It is such a powerful picture. What is funny is on Oprah (don't ask me why I was watching the show) they had the girl in the picture on the show. I do not really remember, but it would be interesting to watch it again. Maybe they have it on YouTube (try to check it out if you can... I might too later today). I remember thinking all these thoughts about the picture and the girl had a totally different perspective than I was anticipating. That's what I was specifically struck by.

Thanks for sharing these pictures Rod!
